OfficeLinx VM

Just set up a new remote office with a G430 MG on a new network region (NR). The [three] H.323 9608 phones there register to CM through the new NR. When they call into OfficeLinx voicemail, the DTMF tones are not recognized. OfficeLinx continues to ask for password even though it was entered. A list trace shows the digits being passed, but OfficeLinx does not recognize/acknowledge them.

There are several other remote offices with their own NR that work fine. Moreover, when I force one of the phones at the new office to register with one of the other [working] NR, it works.

I have gone line by line comparing the new NR to a working NR and there is no difference (other than NR number, location number, and name). They all use the same trunk group and signaling group to connect with OfficeLinx.

Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

Thanks

Do you happen to be using in-band tones and G729 between those regions?

Figured it out. The network guys had the GW blocked from accessing voicemail. Normally, that shouldn't be an issue because the phones register directly with CM. But DTMF uses RTP which require DSP resources. Those phones were using the GW's DSP resources.
Once they opened it up, it started working.
