I've placed on a TL11 4 Thuraya lines so that they are accessible through the PBX. Incoming route is working without problems. However, outgoing route - I'm able to receive the tone the Thuraya lines generate, but I cannot dial anything, as it does not recognize/acknowledge any of the digits placed (in digital or analogue phone).

Any ideas?

How is it that one can change the tone receive level on MD110 ? I've been able to do this on the BP128i but couldnt find where on the MD110

First of all: are you sure your system is sending DTMF?
RODAP could help to ensure this. The digit receiving level?
Your problem is on the sending side, or? Anyway, starting to play with levels is of course possible, but usually (if this is the case) it has to be fixed somewhere else (PSTN), MD works with standard levels, and so does also BP.
Place a DTMF phone on the line directly, and try to make a call. What happens?

Hi!
Thanks for the quick answer. I've actually placed a normal DTMF phone directly on the line and no problems - I can make the call. When I seize the line, I hear the tone of the Thuraya line (which is different than that of PSTN). But once I have the line, I cannot send any DTMF to place the call. I've also played quite alot around with VARC and VARO - since the problem is outoing (under RODAI).

On the BP for example, we've changed a bit on the trunk lines with the tone receive level among other features in order for the BP to work with the Thuraya. However, I cannot find any of these features on the MD110. I was only able to find under VARI, Digit 6 where you can specify DTMF sensitivy either by 'LOW' or 'NORMAL'.

hi
print RODAP for the route you connected your lines too.

Hi,
this is how I've last left it:

<rodap:rou=1&6&28;
ROUTE DATA
ROU TYPE VARC VARI VARO FILTER
1 TL11 H'00000022 H'00000088 H'00000815 NO
6 TL11 H'00000022 H'00000088 H'00000815 NO
28 TL11 H'00000022 H'00000088 H'00000815 NO

Route 28 is the Thuraya line. Route's 1 and 6 are normal PSTN lines.

Maybe is problem in detection of dial tone. Try VARO 00000805.

Thank you! Works perfectly ! Thank you sooo much for your help and expertise. I truly appreciate it.

VARO 00000805 is the correct thing
