DTMF/long tones issue

Have a customer whose Norstar lost programming

After I reprogrammed it they informed me some other systems had problems rrcognizing their DTMF

I instructed them to use long tones which works but this leads me to believe it was working without this before hand

Is there something I missed in programming that could effect this?

Under Lines (each one) it defaulted to Pulse, change it to Tones.
