So having intermittent dtmf issues over pri, I saw a bug fix in 67 that fixes dtmf issue over scn but I don't think that is the same issue. Going to upgrade them this weekend anyway but was wondering if anything else could be causing this.

The carrier originally took the blame but days later retracted and said its not them

Anything I could be overlooking?

I had a similar issue. I set up VDN at our office on CM and was able to use SSA to monitor the IP Office side sending the digits and list trace my VDN to see what digits were being received. I then did the test with the carrier on the line and they could see certain digits not being sent. We boosted the TX level for the PRI on the IPO and the issue went away.

do you know what you boosted it to?

i did the same and monitored it, the carrier hasnt been helpful yet in running a trace to see if they can actually see the digits being sent.

I recently had the same problem and it was the IP office. I had to send it back for repair as it would work fine until you needed to do anything that required DTMF. If you call into an Auto attendant from the system and press any buttons to select an option is does nothing. At first I blamed the line provider until they plugged directly into the lines and proved it was the system. I now have the system back repaired and it working fine but they wont tell me what they fixed.

I set the TX gain on the PRI to 2db and that worked for me.

so over the weekend i set the gain to +2 and i also upgraded to .69

not sure which actually solved the issue but it looks like it went away

Yep, same here. Had an new IPO two weeks ago that would not recognize DTMF. My vendor replaced it. Nothing lse worked.

spoke too soon, looks like they came back, not nearly as bad but still occasionally
