Hello,

Recently for couple months, we are having hard time finding the solution of that our problem: When someone call from outside, randomly, they are unable to choose an option or dial an extension. sound like dtmfs but unable to fix it.

We have 3 cabinet

card with hunt group which manage the call is in on the 2nd cabinet(digital) and TMDI is on 1st cabinet.

But interesting thing is that, when we move hunt group digital from 2nd cabinet and put it at 1st cabinet which have TMDI, it work's perfectly....when we put it back it initial place...it does not work well.

We already change the TMDI card and digital card.

I also check in ld 21 and EEST and DTMF are set to YES. Does this change something ....

Any help ???

Thank you...

This is not a DTR problem. DTR's are ONLY used by analog phones or analog DID trunks when setting up a call. Once a call is established the DTR's are no longer in the picture.
From your description the callers are getting connected to your IVR (whatever it is) so it would more likely be a problem with one of the channels on the IVR. But it could also be a problem at the caller's end.

Before we thought, that it was third party that provide IVR. To make sure, we removed those line that goes to third party server and we connected a digital 2616 directly to a TN and problem was still there.

As I said, if we put that card directly to the TMDI cabinet, it works like a charm.

@janaya As I am not an expert on this system: what is on the SSC card and what it does and how to verify if it is working correctly or not.

Thank you.

Anybody got any idea..still looking for some hope :(

What Rls is the system. I have seen this with bad fiber cards of fiber cable between cabinets on Rls's prior to Rls 7. But usually other strange problems pop as well. With Rls 7 and up I have seen connection and calling problems if the DSP's of a cabinet are not up and required us to manually restart them.
