You can look under Options --> Interdigit Timer. This feature is supposedly reserved for Avaya vendor personnel only and can adversely affect the system if used improperly. Personally I've never had to change this setting and can't vouch for the volatility of modifying values.
Interdigit timers are used by the MERLIN LEGEND System to determine when a user originating an outside call has completed dialing the digits. The information is
necessary to allow the system to perform subsequent operations.
which makes it sound more like the Legend is listening to the user's dialing, rather than controlling the duration of the tones.
Which DTMF tones are you trying to extend? Those that the user dials directly, or those generated by something like a speed-dial? What problem are you trying to solve? A CO circuit that isn't reliably receiving DTMF?
There is a way to adjust the DTMF tones for the mode codes for and intergraded VMI hunt group. This would be under aux equpiment...VMS/AA...tt duration..the length of the Touch tones..default it 100m/s and tt interval..the length of time inbetween the touchtones....default is 100m/s. Again..this is only for the intergraded VMI hunt group. What application are you trying to adjust the touch tones for??
