HI,

I've now installed a DTIB4 in the LDK, and assigned it within the slot assignment. How do I now make the ports live?

Go to PGM101 and choose DTIB4 from the scroll list for the SLOT where you have installed the board.
Then go to PGM103 and set the order to choose for the local line boards.
E.g. If you have more DTIB4 boards, choose the order for these boards - > board 1 has extension 100-103 and board 2 has extension 104 to 107.

I have Hybrid, then STIB and then DTIb on 103. When I try to dial a number I get "Vacant Number".

In what SLOT did you place the DTIB4?
The SLOT number is to be chosen in PGM 101 and DTIB4 is also chosen from the scroll list. Smae with PGM103.

If you are using keyset programming, then it is like this:
[Tran/PGM]+PGM101 + SLOT number + flex button 1 + Enter Board Type Code(2 digits)+ Hold/Save.

Here are the SLOT numbers for the ipLDK-20:
Board type of basic MBU(Slot 1- Slot3, Slot5) and VMIB slot (slot 7) can not be changed.
- Slot 1: Hybrid on MBU.
- Slot 2: not used
- Slot 3: not used in ISDN type MBU(SLIB4 in Analog type MBU).
- Slot 4: optional STA board.
- Slot 5: CO board on MBU.
- Slot 6: optional CO slot.
- Slot 7: VMIB slot.
- Slot 8: SLIM/DTIM slot.
- Slot 9: VOIM slot.

I guess that you have inserted the DTIB4 in SLOT=4.

The the board ID code (Board Type Code(2 digits))for the different boards:

DTIB4=11
DTIB8=12
SLIB4=13
SLIB8=14
LCOB2=33
LCOB4=34
CBIB=54
STIB2=52
STIB1=53
VMIB=61
AAFB=62
VMIBE=64
AAFBE=65

Now to PGM103:
[TRANS/PGM]+ PGM103 + Flex button 2 + SLOT number (2 digits)+ Hold/Save.
After this reset the system.
Check that the battery is on and that the back-up is activated.

Hi Doktor,

Yep - DTIB in slot 4, assigned through 101. I use PCADM instead, and appended through 103. I'll try one more reset when I get back in the morning.

Try to list what is in your SLOTs.
Also check PGM105 to see what numbers are assigned to DTIB in slot 4.

///doktor

105:

Ports 1-6 = 10-15
Ports 7-8 = 16-17
Ports 9-12 = 18-21

Slots:

1 - Hybrid
2 - Empty
3 - Empty
4 - DTIB4
5 - STIB2
6 - Empty
7 - AAFBE
8 - Empty
9 - Empty

COL Board - 5
STA Board - 1,5,4
VMIB - 7

So these pots go for these SLOTs:

Ports 1-6 = 10-15 -> SLOT 1 - Hybrid
Ports 7-8 = 16-17 -> SLOT 5 - STIB2
Ports 9-12 = 18-21 -> SLOT 4 - DTIB4

Can you dial to all numbers?
DTIB4 needs an LG keyset (LKD or LDP) to be connected before you can call the extension number..

Hi Doktor,

Once the handset was connected this time it worked fine!

Cheers again!

Thanks for your update on this issue...!
