Can I use a shot straight thru network ethernet cable to connect a DTI module to the BCM50 expansion port or is there a specific pin out ? There are two available EXP licenses available?

The problem is that the MBM with the DTI card in it is not showing up on the Telephone Resources folder even though there are 2 available EXPs available.

Yes you can use a straight thru patch cord. It is the last 2 ports on the Main unit for the exp. The last is #2 exp.

also make sure the cable is right around 15 to 16ft. If you make it to short or to long the system may not see it right.

Ignore the last post .
That's for a bcm450 expansion chassis

thanks it turned out that I could not get EM to DISABLE to port and I went thru the handset programming and was able to DISABLE, CHANGE and then ENABLE the port and it came on line. That is what I like about Nortel you can always use the handset for programming as a back up if EM is not available or offline.
