I have an 8 button dterm connected to a 2400 ipx. set shows an off hook with the green light with the message "cnfrst" in the display and the red light is lit on the associated sets with the line apperance. Have worked on this pbx for six years and haven't come across this before.

My guess is the display says conference reset. Have you tried RLST? Also, if there is a headset button make sure it is released.
