Dterm Series E NEC - Speed Dial Buttons

I've read the instructions on how to program a Speed Dial Button but nothing works. When I press Feature and the Speed Dial Button on the phone and start dialing the number I want programmed, nothing comes up on the display.

Any advice?

Have you assigned any memory to the station in cmd73? and is the button allocated as a speed dial key in cmd 9000?

All assuming either an IVS, IVS2, IPS or SV8300!
