I just read on NTAC today that all of the DT9XX-2 phones do not have the ability to convert to Standard SIP. They are no longer making dual purpose phones.
Only the DT9XX-1 phones have the ability to convert to Standard SIP.
There are specific models of phones intended for the NEC 3C system as their standard sip model of phone now.
Do not confuse that with the UnivergeBlue phones you might find out there. They also don't seem to be able to convert to Standard SIP or NEC Proprietary SIP.
In other words if you are buying used DT9xx phones be careful of what you buy. If you can find a model number on them look up the model and see which system they are for.
There are 10 kinds of people in the World.
Those that understand Binary and those that don't.
