DT700 phone can't send DTMF to other IP phone

Hi,

I am experincing exactly the same problem as mentioned in thread937-1773302.

There was no solution mentioned in the thread and I am hoping there is an answer.

Basically I have some IP handsets that are connected to an SV8100. There is also an SIP-Analouge Gateway as an ip extension that has a nalaouge door opened (basically you ring it and send a DTMF code to open a gate)

When you dial from the dt700 internally to the gateway extension no dtmf is passed (either as in-band or RFC2833)

When you dial from the dt700 to an external number (via an isdn trunk) DTMF is passed

When you dial from the dt700 to the gateway and an external call via the IDSN trunks DTMF is passed

When the DT700 is replaced with a sip softphone DTMF is passed (both when the softphone is configured to use in-band dtmf and RFC2833 to send DTMF)

Does anybody know how to get the dt700 to initate the sending of DTMF for in internal IP call.

Check 15-03-03 this relates to a single line IP phone and........

Enter 1 for this option to allow a
single line port to receive DTMF
tones after the initial call setup.
Enter 0 to have the port ignore
DTMF tones after the initial call
setup. For Voice Mail, always
enter 1 (e.g., receive DTMF
tones)

The default is 0

Hi. I ended up solving my problem in the following way:
I set my SIP analog gateway to "SIP INFO" under the DTMF settings. It didn't work with "In-Band" or RFC2833.

But remember, that was an SV8500 system, and I'm not sure how would this apply to your SV8100.
