DT590's going to sleep

We have 2 dt590's that are going to sleep, all appears ok with handset yet doesnt ring when called and when calling out shows 'calling' on display, turning phone off then on again clears the problem for a while....then sleeps again!!

we have 280 dt570's no problem.....

any suggestions?????
