hi I have BC12_SP3 when I supscribe a dect phone DT590 I put the network name e.g.:Ericsson and it is appear on the dect screen, I want two things:
1- Some users want thier names to be appeared rather than network name? Even I assign thier names by command:NIINI,the name not appear on the screen (In digital extensions it is appear) but when I call from dect the name of the caller appears on the called Dect.I want the name on the Dect appears on the screen like digital telephone?

2-Some other users want the network name to be all in Capital e.g.:ERICSSON.? when I put the name at subscreibe time the first litter is cabital but the rest are small?

What shuld I do???

No command exist in MD to set name on cordless phone display.
Of course it is good idea to set name in MD using command NINII. This name will be displayed on other phone displays (digital, IP or cordless) and will be stored in number log

Hi,

You can change the name on the display of phone while subscribing or alternatively:
Go in Networks-edit list-rename...

This name is available on the DECT phone but not while calling any other extnesion...
So to see the name on called Extension , you need to set it with NIINI additionally...

In all DECT phones, the available space for the network name (or user name in older devices) is limited. If you have e.g. a DT290 its 12 characters. But a name must be stated.
So, if you want to have only the number in the display, then enter just a space as the name. If you want name and number, then the name must be short. There must be enough space to display the name, a space and the network number. If you want only the name, then make it longer so the number doesn't fit into the remaining space.
The network number ist provided by the system.
This applys to MD110 integrated mobility and BCT1800 GAP.
