DT590 and DT292 can not work with End-to-End DTMF ?

Dear Sirs

Some of our costumers try to use the DT590 for End-to-End DTMF signalling - to open a electronic door lock or do DTMF signalling to a voice mail system. But without success!
The costumer use a MD110 BC10 (newest CNA/CNI) with integrated DECT (ELU31 and BS340).
It was possible to use the DT570 earlier to do ETE DTMF signalling, but not possible to use this facility with DT590 nad DT292.
Maybe you have some hints?

Pls explain how the users send DTMF ETE with the DT570; do they use a suffix key for activating the DTMF transmission or do they use a specific "DTMF function" in the DT570?
