How do I display the DECT base station info on a DT570 cordless extension (BC10)? I have tried powering on whilst holding down 2 & 8 which momentarily displays the local base station info but I need to display it permanently so I can watch the signal strength, handover etc. Also how do I display or print the ELU31 firmware and DT570 software?

Thanks

Hi kronehead :

ELU31 firmware => CNBIP:BPOS=x-x-xx; (pos of your elu31)
DT570 firmware => 2-8-on (firmware displays for 2 seconds)
after the 2-8-on procedure you can go in the info menu to service and there you have link-info, rfp-info etc...

greetings,

Thanks for the speedy reply Whosrdaddy! The ELU31 firmware is ROF1375412/1 R2A. If this is upgraded and also the handset S/W upgraded (don't have that yet as not on site) will our DT570's display the mute icon when the phone is muted?
Thanks

The mute icon refers to the mute microphone option. I quote from the DT570 user guide EN/LZTNB 101 218 R1 page 52 <to turn off microphone during a call press and hold down the clear key. Mute is displayed. Release clear key to resume conversation> What actually happens is that a single press of the clear key mutes the microphone but no icon is displayed so you are not sure if you are muted or not[thumbsdown]. On the DT368 you got an annoying intermittent beep tone whilst muted.
