Hi,

On a BC12 SP5 system (45 LIM, 3000 DT290 Portable Phones, 15 000 analog and digital lines, 300 Worf and Core Base Stations, 5 Duplicated GS, 2 different Sync Rings).

Each portable phones detach (silently) from network at least 1 time a week (often more times) without notifying the user (any information like LED Flashing, display "No Network "...).
When we try to call one of this detached PP, after 7 or 8 secconds, "Unavailable" appears on a digital phone display.
We knew this problem with BC10. We have upgraded the system to BC12 for Ericsson to continue to support and develop corrective patches for our system.

All radio engineering seems to be OK :
- Between 2 and 4 BS / ELU31 depending on trafic
- BS of as same area on the same ELU31 to reduce Inter-Board traffic
- Inter-LIM Traffic reduced as much as possible with ELU31 only in 15 LIMS
- Synch cable length...

We still have problems (less than before, but still...)

We also have problems on CXAKI.
MD110 responds EXECUTED, subscription on DT290 is OK, but when typing CXAKP, result is AUTKEY= "-", IPEI is displayed, ACCESS RIGHT = Sometimes "CONFIRMED", sometimes not confirmed. 1 week after, the CXAKP is correct, without doing anything more...

Base stations and ELU31 have been upgraded in september 2004 (I don't remember the release tonight).

Does someone knows the problem ? Better, knows how to resolve the problem (beautiful dream ?!?) ? From where do you think the problem should come from (Base Stations, ELU, DT290 P, Unit CTLP, GS, SYNCH, capacity of the CPUs ...)?

Sorry for my English (I'm French).

Thank you for your informations.

one question, do you have ip trunking installed?? (check type TL65 in RODAP)

this means no??

try restarting ctlp and see if things stay stable

It's also adviced to load SP6...

We have often restarted CTLP, changed delays on synchronization ring. I will try to obtain more informations about SP6.
Thanks.

Hi,

We have seen this kind of abnormal behaviour on DECT equipment..Portables, Repeaters, BS...

Recently installing GPS & syncronising from it fixed all the issues...

Try a good clock sync..

Hi
I think the problem from DSU ,LSU ,they have to be:
DSU ROF 131 4414/4 R8B
LSU ROF 131 4413/5 R2B

And check the fault signal log "HIMDP"

BC12 SP7 in the way, do not upgrade to sp6.

Hi singhbrindisi,
How do you synchronize with GPS ?
Thanks.
Thanks also to md110user.

Hi,

You need to install GPS equipment which will be connected on TLU 76.... Dummy route needs to be assigned & Master clock will be provided from this route..

Alternatively if you have good clock from Cellular provider then use it...
