I have 3.0 working on my 403 at home but at work i can't upgrade my DT30 so i had to downgrade the full system. I heard this isn't supported and will be supported any idea's

DT's are curently not supported & the DT module Bin file was removed from the trial software at aprox V3.0(39)

An earlier version of this file (NADT-16.BIN) is on my FTP server (FTP:IPGURU.NO-IP.INFO)

Use at your own risk.

DT ports are not supported on IPO 3.0.

Avaya are talking about an IPO 3.0(DT) release soon which will support DT ports - but not support any 3.0 features or applications.

To quote from an email from Avaya:
The V3.0 software released today (21st March) does not support the DT range of handsets. There will be a V3.0 DT launched in June which will support the handsets.............
The reason for this delay is that our engineering team have not had time to properly test the software release with DT handsets. We only became aware of this at the beginning of February 2005............

The email goes on to list all the new features available in 3.0, and then to add insult to injury continues with:

Avaya are working on providing these application within V3.0 DT BUT this is not set in stone and can not be guaranteed at this moment in time.

Em I hearing what I think I am? DT 30 are you talking about digital station modules? DT meaning Digital Telephone?

No, we mean the DT module for the 2030/2050 series phones from avaya
The DS module is still supported.

I know that Avaya have recieved a lot of feedback on this decision, I am aware a number of rumors & the next few weeks should be interesting.

By "feedback", can I assume you mean "criticism"?
We have a LOT of customers usind DTs who are gonna get right miffed if they get to hear about the lack of DT support for the future.

as the saying goes

"You might say that I couldnt posibly comment"

Feedback can be both +Ve & -Ve
I have made my personal oppinion on this decision plain to certain members of Avayas staf & I know my Directors have done the same. Hopefully you have done likewise.

As I said I have heard some rumors that sugest Avaya have listened to this feedback, But as it is only roumour I would not like to comment further.
