DSUM lfunction imitation for 66 items?

I have a problem when adding expenses under a field with a date criteria containing more than 66 items. Is there a limitation in the EXCEL function DSUM against more than 66 items. The function does not seem to work beyond row 66!

Any chance your criteria range hasn't been expanded to include rows beyond Row 66? Sometimes the simplest solutions are the easiest to overlook.
