Just a reminder that Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend in North America. It's a good time to check those switches to make sure it is enabled (for those of you that follow it).

Excellent. Here is some more detail for those that find it isn't set:

The PBX daylight savings time adjustment can be programmed to take place automatically. You can set the date to change to daylight saving, and to return to standard time. The following commands are accepted by the PBX for this capability. If you use NTP - use your best judgment on all time changes. If you are a more recent release, you may need PWD2 access, or the STAD patch.

Using LD 2 - first let's just see if it is already correct for DST to ST changes. You should see what I see below:

SDST ON
FWTM MAR 2 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 14/3/2010 )
BWTM NOV 1 SUN 2 (AT 02:00 7/11/2010 )

If you do not see what I see above, and your Nortel PBX is in an area that observes traditional Daylight Saving Time, then do this:

>ld 2
TFC000
.FWTM 3 2 1 2
.BWTM 11 1 1 2
.SDST ON

There, you're done. Every year, your PBX will change when it is supposed to.
