Hello There,
I am new to this forum. For those who are running Exchange 5.5, how were you able to resolve the DST patch for v5.5? DST is coming in November and our servers do not have the patch. I am open to your ideas.

What did you do for the spring DST period?

Patching Exchange 5.5 isn't strictly necessary unless you have OLE applications that use it. We patched the NT4 and Windows 2000 platforms with (which is a quick and easy way of implementing the manual fix published by MS). So long as you have updated your (XP) clients with the DST patches, you should be okay.

Note that for the extended DST period some prearranged meetings may shift an hour in the calendar, our advice to users was to put the start time of the meeting in the subject of any meetings booked close to the extended DST period, thus ensuring that if and when the appointment is shifted, it is obvious that this has happened.
