I have a couple of old V5.7 (Solaris 7) boxes, which Sun hasn't a ready patch for.

I am going to use the info from these newsgroup posts:

I will just copy the appropriate timezone files from a system that is already patched - even files from a fixed Linux box will do.

Hi,

I have this Solaris server. I am not familar with Solaris flavour. I am pretty much sure this OS, Sun doesn't support. And Sun is going to charge for the DST patch.

SunOS WMS01 5.6 Generic_105181-32 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10

Hence decided to change the system date on 11th March ( DST affected date).

Which command I should use to do this?

TIA .
