OK, before someone says "Why don't you use a PRI?", a PRI is double the cost, because our pre-WWII Erickson switches that the CO has... well, anyway, a PRI has to be back-hauled over 60 miles.
So I have a 24-channel DSS T1.
However, dialing is SLOOOOOW. I am using LCR and froute and so forth, but it's dialing the DTMF tones slowly.
I was reminded back in the old modem days, where you could set an S-register to change the DTMF tone lengths, and it would dial much faster.
Where would I change this in the SV8100? There are tons of timers, and I don't want to just arbitrarily adjust what I think LOOKS like it would help, especially since many of them require a system restart.
I just want to shorten up the DTMF tones, and the inter-digit times, so that it doesn't take 10 seconds to set up a call.
TIA!
Just my 2¢
