DSS short cable?

Does anybody know how to manufacture the short cable that goes between the MLX-20 and the DSS? They are spendy little guys!! I need one right away!

Should be the same as a long one. Even an ethernet patch cord will work. It's the power cable from the transformer to the splitter that is tough to make because of the keyed mod plug.

Mike sandman sells them. And Yes they are different from other Rj45 ends. I an pinch I used to use a dremel and carve the ends on a patch cord and it would work.

I tried carving out a patch cord. I plugged it in and it smoked the 20L set. Any ideas why? The 20L still powers up, but no keys function correctly.
