Legend 6
swapped extension numbers for the operator extensions and moved the wiring to the proper ports. The new extension is coming up correctly and is the main programming phone, but the DSS is not functioning on the set.
Its a Legend so it has no power supply and it is plugged into the correct port on the phone.
I go into programming for the DSS and it starts with the correct extension.
Any ideas?

I have forgotten how to make the auto attendant delay to pick up after 6 rings.
Can someone remind me?

Is all 4 pair connected to the jack?

I didn't take a look at the wiring on the jack. I know that at the system, each of the Rjs have 2 pairs on them. I thought it still only needed just 2 pairs.

Doh! The brown pair does provide power for the DSS doesn't it?

OR - you can use a 48volt power supply - like the 1151A1, etc. - if the brown/white wire pair just isn't available.

To delay the auto attendant assign the lines to a calling group with no members. Overflow the calling group to vmail after xx seconds (where xx is about 25 for 6 rings.) Create an auto attendant mailbox numbered the same as the calling group.
