I am having a problem with a 3Com CardBus Modem. I use Ring Central Fax 4.40, when ever I leave the phone line connected for a long period to recieve incoming faxes I get the following error -
"The DSP code could not be uploaded error 1010 failure cause number 2"
Then the modem does not respond until I reboot the PC. This PC is running Windows 98. I don't believe this is a modem driver issue as I can dial up and browse the web with out problem, send and recieve faxes.
the problem always seems t occur when I leave thephone plugged in and I am not at the computer for a long period of time, when I return the error is on the screen.
