Dear Forum,

i want to write a dynamic called cobol-Module that does some sql-selects to a db2-table.

When i link it dynamic then the batch-environment needs the dsneli in the linkcntl and the cics-environment needs the dsncli in the linkcntl.

How can i to the dynamic call with ONE linkcntl ?

Thanks a lot in advance !!

Eva

Hi Eva,
I'm in agreement with WMK, and don't think this can be done. At the site I'm at at the moment, we create two separate load modules from two separate link decks, one for batch, one for CICs. We've got a routine that determines whether the job is running in batch or cics and takes action appropriate to each different environment.
