I have a client that is choosing between frame relay and DSL to connect 5 different offices. They currently have 56k leased lines for their data, voice, and fax usage. The bandwidth is fine but the costs of leased 56k lines are too much these days. Where can I find a good pros and cons list for these transmission types? Or can anyone offer some suggestions?

Thanks!

In Frame Relay it is the provider's responsibility to make all packets private, in DSL any privacy will be your concern. DSL is usually 'faster' than Frame Relay, but may have more latency, and it may vary more. It is unlikely you can do Voice over IP in DSL unless the carrier makes special provisions. DSL is usually much cheaper than Frame Relay. Just some quick generalizations from my limited experience. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
