Does anyone know if I can use port 1 on a 3Com 3C16485B switch as the WAN connection to a DSL Modem.

I checked the 3Com documentation and there was nothing about a WAN port.

Thanks,

I may not be answering your question, but the notion of connecting two routers would involve not using the "WAN" connection, disabling DHCP services it the router offers this, possibly changing the mode of the router from Gateway to router mode, and using a standard LAN port with a cross-over cable, (or an uplink port on one of the routers if available, and you have only straight-thru cable).
