Hello all,

Lately a lot of my users have been requesting DSL lines, so Ive been converting POTS to DSL as necessary. Question I had was can a DSL line be shared so I dont have to have a POTS changed to DSL for every person who wants it?

If it can be shared, how is it done (splitter, switch, etc.)? Also, how many can share without degrading the line/signals? Anyone who can provide info on this? Thanks so much!!! :)

A single DSL line cannot be "shared" in the normal sense. You can, however, connect your DSL line to a hub or router and share the line that way. Usually your DSL provider will have a limit on the number of users per line. I have had as many as 8 PC's connected as one time with no noticable loss in performance.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!
