DSL getting new federal mandate for uptime & better ISP support? Anything heard about this?
Just spoke with a DSL tech support guy from Qwest who told me that there was a new federal mandate coming soon that would require ISP's to better support subscribers by giving a higher level of support on DSL problems. Rather than taking all day or several days for repairs, etc.
This may mean DLS support would more closely resemble T-1 immediate support.
