I have a DSL going in on an alarm line. I have been told (by the alarm co) that I need a special filter for the alarm. The line will not be used for anything else. Can anyone help with this, do you know where I can find such a filter? What should I be asking for? Thanks in advance for any help....

If it's the filter I'm thinking of, Radio Shack has them, a DSL filter. It's a small device. It plugs into the wall and the phone line plugs into it. $7 to $10.

Thanks for your reply. The filter they speak of is not a regular phone filter but a special filter for alarm systems, any ideas??
