DSL connection pause after playing streeming videos

I have a problem with my Pacbell DSL. Everything works
fine untill I play streeming files: music or videos. After that each couple minutes browser (actually any connection) not responding on link clicks for about 15-20 seconds. You may click any links - nothing. Looks dead. Than it starts to work again. How knows the reason?
