I am having this same problem for months, I have to turn off and on every hour on the modem/router because of connection problems, cannot find server, cannot surf online...
then I have discovered that if connecting through a proxy server, then there's no connection problem at all... Why ?
but I rather not surf through a proxy because of the slow speeds, can anyone help me with this strange situation - how to keep connected without going thru a proxy ??
any advise will be appreciated, thank you.

Jane

Have you entered your ISP's DNS server IP address into the router? If you have chosen the routers 'detect DNS server automatically' option - that does not work for some ISP/router combinations.
Your ISP should have that info somewhere on their website - or call their helpline.
