DSL browsing suddenly slow 1

Recently signed with directvinternet for broadband. My G4(os 9) was loving it, making me happy I left my dial up days behind, then 2 days ago molasses. Browsing takes longer than my old 56k.

Tech help at dtv was limited to "our equipment is working just dandy, it's gotta be your browser(s) I use netscape mostly, occasionally internet explorer--I've tried clearing cache, trashing preference files, rehooking my gateway(dsl modem)
