I just was asked if a DSL line can be shared as a trunk line into a phone system. I know that it can be shared with a fax line-but with a filter----anyone see any problems with putting it into a phone system as a main trunk line?

Any documentation on using a DSL line?

Thanks

you may use the same (filtered) line on a phone system to an analog trunk port

som3etimes (but not always) the telco says it cant be on line in rotary

rotary would read hunt in most part of the country. and in this area, most dsl lines that i installed were riding on an analog business trunk. we suggest the fax line as the 1st choice, or the last line in your hunt group. you do see a slight drop with through-put when the line is in use. if your going to use that line as a key system trunk, make it the line that in least used... i installed dsl for a couple of months as cross training back when they were new
