Cust has another line he would like to add into his 3x8 rel 6 acs processor. Currently has two lines in the system. Question: The third line he would like to add currently has a fax and dsl on it. Will adding the additional third line cause any problems due to the DSL being on it. I have heard that the DSL will cause problems to the system even with a filter on it. Has anyone done this before?

I have DSL service and a Partner ACS R7 at home.

I wired a standard DSL filter at the demarc, just beyond the wires that feed the computer modem, and have had no service problems at all with the Partner. [thumbsup2]

so the dsl filter is wired prior into going in the co ports on the system?

yes--a DSL filter needs to be in between telco and any 'phone' device, be it system, cordless, desk phone, alarm system, TiVo, sattelite box, etc

Just plug the DSL filter into the line port that you are using and connect dial tone to it.

Thank You all very much! It is nice to know that their is a great support mechanism out there.
