Does anyone know what the difference between DSL, and ADSL is?

From a simple google search:

DSL is like the superset, generic term used to describe that type of broadband connection. There are many subsets like HDSL and ADSL. In short, ADSL (Asymmetric DSL) has varying dowload and upload speeds usually with the download speed being much greater, hence the asymmetric label.

I am with cdogg, except that I have seen SDSL offerings that went where the ADSL guys feared to go.
And while personally sceptical, they worked fine.

Not meaning to rag on ya, bradcom. But this is a very easy google search away. Hardly worth asking here IMHO. Now I'm a true believer that there are never any stupid questions, but most folks here appreciate some legwork on your part to find your own answers. Now if you had any specific questions regarding the different flavors of DSL, then we're more than happy to help :)

No problem MaxPipeline ... I guess I deserve to get ragged on a little for that question.
I usually do research a topic before asking a question on a forum, but apparently I was in a daze that day.
