DSL 504 router problems (port Forwarding)

Hey Guys, i've got this problem and i just cant solve it on my own... Basically i have 2 Dlink DSL 504 routers at different locations but in the same country. On one end i'm running RedHat and i want to set up remote printingm, but more on that later. For now i'm trying to set-up basic port forwarding on my DSL 504. I have a Netgear printserver that has it's own IP, what i'm trying to do is redirect all incoming packages on port 1900 to this printserver. I've configured everything at "port forwarding" on DLS504 but no luck. I then tried to set-up fry forward so all incoming packages on port 21 to the router would be redirected to the print server on the same port... but still no luck... I was wondering if any of you guys have expirienced smth similar before?
