DS_E_INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_RIGHTS

We have built a new PDC and added the Exchange server into this domain to prove DR tests.

We have then recovered Exchange database files from our live server to this test environment.

Service accounts have the same passwords as old, domain name is exactly the same. When starting the exchnage service we get the above error message. We have ran isinteg -patch but that comes back with the same errors. Any ideas?

Does the server have the same name and site name as the server you are restoring from?

The more you know, the more you realise there is to know....
