DS30B not working in Norstar Mode on R9

I have a DS30B that when put into Norstar mode stops seeing the IP Office and vice versa. The front LED fast flashes yellow and no phones work. I was able to recreate this issue with another system and a brand new DS30B. I have confirmed that it upgrades and works with Avaya phones. The IPO is running 9.0.3.841.

Anyone else have an issue like this?

I am seeing the exact same issue. 9.0.3 Build 941
Both boxes are new.

I believe the fast flash amber indicates that the firmware is being replaced to accommodate the conversion between DS and BST Mode. I let the thing flash for about 10 minutes and it restarted and came up. I then switched modes, restarted the Control Unit and again let the amber fast flash for around 10 minutes, and it came up successfully with a T7316e working fine.

So did you switch the mode first and then the fast flash amber happened that you left for 10 minutes? When I switch modes on mine the IPO fails to see the expansion module. I'll try again today and let it sit there for a while. Thanks.
