Hi,

I'm aware of an issue with DS30's suddenly refusing to pass DTMF tones from any connected phone. I know the fix is to go back to 3.2999 and then back to 4.x.

However, we've got a client with a 406v2 on 3.2(55) experincing a similar issue. Was this a problem on ealier releases too? I assume when the DS30 was installed it would have been on something unusable like 2.1 and should have gone 3.1999 -> 3.2(55). I assuming this wasn't done but obviously can't be sure at this stage.

Has this happened to anyone on 3.2?

Is there a bin file for the ds units ?
If yes then you need to if not then you don't

This is the easiest way to remember if you do or if you don't :)

I can not find it in the 3.2 techbulletin but i would check it !

Just do it anyway, it can't hurt it!!

Good point tlpeter, I saw there was a 3.1999 folder but I don't know if there was a bin for the DS30. I've been looking through the install manual and it doesn't specifically mention it. It does talk about 2.1 -> 3.1999 -> 3.2 for the main control unit though.

I'll have a look.

Cheers

It appears there's no bin file for DS units in either 3.0.999 or 3.1.999. Thanks for the tip though - it's a simple way to check!

I'll probably try reflashing the same version that it has on now.

Cheers
