Hi all,
I have a DS3 line between two facility. The handoff between the local courier is Coaxial, the Coaxial runs to a 3com S600(yes old school ). From the S600 it's ethernet over to the network....For the past 3 weeks I have been getting drop packets, based on continuous ping. the drop packets could last up to 10 minutes, sometime the line drops totally. I would have to reset the ethernet interface on the S600(on either end), and it would come back up. The local carrier did a stress test which came back clean, I'm not seeing any errors at all on our equipment.
When the line drops packet or drops totally, there's no traffic going over the wan as the MS stays stable.
Could anyone suggest anything?
Thanks.
