ds2000 night service

The night service button on the telephone has no effect. Ring type is day and night on attendant. Have did. Setting day mode to 300 and night mode to 300 causes 300 to ring all the time until vm picks up on 5th ring. Setting day to 300 and night to 700 causes ext 300 to never ring. Any ideas?

There is a glitch in the DS 2000 that causes nite not to ring if you set it up with a laptop . It has to be set
into the programming with the phone #57 18 clear etc.
Also be sure you don't have Telco voice mail on the phone no.
