DS2000 lost password 1

Taking over DS2000 for customer who cannot get a hold of previous tech. Is there a way to reset the password without dumping the database?

There may be a hidden back door password, but you would need to go through an NEC dealer and pay a fee for NEC to do it. Check the manuals for any engineering level passwords that may not have been changed.

The only default "backdoor" password for the DS series is 372000. This was the installer level password. There are also 2 other system user level passwords. Sys Level 1: 0000 and Sys Level 2: 9999
