DS 30 dead ports

When plugging in a 5610 into the third DS unit the following appears on the screen
5410D Rel: 2.00 9/21/04 Please Wait on ports 17-30 1-16 work fine
IPO rel 3.1.48 v1 Dig Units rel 5.1.48 v1
I have rebooted both soft and hard with no luck.
Has anyone run into this problem?

Bad 30 port module. We had a ton of bad ds 30 units lately. I reported it to our distributor and they expect it was a bad batch of units.

Had to RMA 3 of them in last month.

56xx series are IP Terminals not sure why you are connecting these to a DS module, 54XX is what you need. 56XX only on LAN ports!

There is a problem in version 3.0(59) and 3.1(48) that if you give a restart after a change, some ports don,t come up.
If you reboot the module or take out the bleu cable al ports will come up.
Important if you change something ofside and you make a restart.
