Drum Heater Installation in Phaser 350.... Hard?

I'm not phaser printer expert but a post here and 3 different people in the area (100 mile radius) tell me it's the drum heater. (yes I checked... It's not heating at all =(...)

anyway like I said I'm not expert of Phaser printers buy I've taken apple lasers and of course 100's of computers apart. With a little help (from someone on the forum maybe???) is this something I can do or should I pay someone locally ($300.00 is the best offer to fix it and some want $500.00!)

I have the same need for some advise on replcing the heater for my 350. The printer fires up with no error messages but then gets stuck in an initialization mode and indicates that it is melting ink.

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

you can not replace the Heater with out having a y-axis belt tensioner. I dont suggest trying it with out one.
