I have the potential to start a new job (Whew), & they might be looking for a DRP system. I have experience with mrp I, mrp II & ERP, but this company only distributes stuff, so they don't need any manufacturing type software.

Any suggestions? Also approximate prices for these, as I don't want to be the new kid on the block suggesting a $3,000,000 system to a small (but growing like hell) company.

Thank you all for your help.

As an addendum to the above...maybe this can narrow down the choices a bit.

Company imports from far east, head office in Montreal with small warehouse, large 3rd part warehouse in NY state, large 3rd party warehouse in CA.

Head office has 80-90 employees & had seen tremendous growth in the last 3 years.

They have outgrown their Excel tables & want to go to the next level. I am looking for names of software packages out there that are good at DRP, for a reasonable amount of money. I hope to start a new position there, and would like to recommend what direction they should move in. ERP would be over kill, as they don't need the manufacturing type of modules.

Thanks
Bruce
