I have a report that is very full of infomation. Several fields are various dates. I currently use the short date format which included the month/date and year. Is there a way to drop the year off to clean up the report?

Thanks,

Thanks Jerry,

It worked great. I actually used mm/dd but it achieved the same result. Now, can you tell me how to get the report to drop the zero from a single digit month?

Thanks for your help,

Mitchy

Mitchy,

if you want single digits for Months and or days only use one letter.

Example:
mm/dd = 01/01
mm/d = 01/1
m/d = 1/1
m/dd = 1/01

I hope this helps to better understand it.

Dear Mitchy,

It 's all about formating! Take a look at the Format function and at this nice FAQ68-5827 : Why do Dates and Times seem to be so much trouble?
