Dropping/Recreating Sequences in Stored Procs

Are you allowed to drop and then recreate Sequences within a stored procedure?

If not is there a trick to performing this action?

Yes you can do it; but you need to execute this as dynamic SQL; the syntax for this will obviously differ dependant on the version of Oracle you are using.
